The Université de Moncton Continuing Education offers many programs and courses through its Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan campuses and also in Bathurst and Campbellton. For the entire network of the Université, this department organises and supports continuing education and professional development courses, day training sessions, workshops, conferences and seminars for part-time students.

Professional Development
UNB CEL offers a variety of face-to-face and online professional development programming including one to three-day seminars and certificate programs. Topic areas include Management & Leadership, Human Resources, Project Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Behavioural Intervention and Autism Support, Workplace Health and Wellness, and Nursing.
Credit Programs and Courses
Several online and face-to-face courses and programs for credit are also available.
Bachelor of Integrated Studies is a degree completion program designed for adult learners. Other specialized certificate programs include Applied Behaviour Analysis, Leadership Studies, Adult Education, Administration, Family Violence Issues, and more.

Dalhousie University offers the following five online introductory Local Government Certificates:
- the Certificate in Local Government Administration (CLGA)
- the Certificate in Local Government Financial Administration (CLGFA)
- the Certificate in Local Government Human Resource Administration (CLGHRA)
- the Certificate in Local Government Administration; Law & Ethics (CLGALE)
- the Certificate in Local Government: Community Economic Development (CLGCED)
The award winning program, The National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration (NACLGA), is still being offered as the advanced certificate.

Jointly developed with Dalhousie University, the National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration Program (NACLAA) responds to the unique municipal and community issues in provinces across Canada. This program is the only national online programs of its kind in Canada and offers a transferable credential across provinces and within several other local government programs.
